Vikrant Pande and Subha Pande
About: Subha Pande is a corporate trainer, Cambridge examiner for spoken English, and a translator into multiple languages.She has translated Kavita Kane's English novels Sita's sister and The Fisher Queen's Dynasty into Hindi. She also translates Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi and Hindi books into English. Her English translation of Kajal Oza Vaidya's Gujarati classic 'Krishnayan' is due to be published in October 2020 by Amazon Westland. Subha has done a lot of translation work for an audio book company Storytel.
Subha is an Masters in Pharmacy and worked as a Professor for 10 years before moving on to becoming a trainer.
Vikrant Pande is a prolific translator having translated 9 Marathi classics and best sellers into English, 8 published by HarperCollins and one by Pan Macmillan. The translations were Ranjit Desai's Raja Ravi Varma, Radheya, and Shreeman Yogi, N.S. Inamdar's Rau, The Love Story of Bajirao Mastani and Shahenshah, the Story of Aurangzeb, Milind Bokil's Shala, V.P. Kale's short story collection, Karmachari, Ratnakar Matkari's short story collection titled Darkness. His translation of Girish Kuber's biography on the Tatas, the Family that built a business and a nation, won the Gaja Capital best business book of 2019 award. He is currently writing his own book, a travelogue and unknown stories of Ramayan to be published by HarperCollins in 2020. He is also working on many translations to be published by Amazon Westland and HarperCollins in the coming years.
Vikrant is an Engineer and an MBA from IIM Bangalore and has spent 2 decades in the corporate sector. He was the Vice Chancellor of TeamLease Skills University at Baroda for 4 years. He is currently a consultant and spends time writing and travelling.
